I am a Portland native and recently moved to Corvallis to be with my spouse Alex. We have an Australian Blue Heeler named L.D. (Little Dog) and a gray tabby named Pickle. In my free time, I enjoy playing disc golf, paddle boarding, rockhounding, gardening and spending time with friends and family in my down time.
In my current role as a Front Office Coordinator, I manage the day-to-day operations of our busy office, overseeing patient and employee relations, appointment scheduling, collections, insurance coordination, and treatment planning.
I have been in dentistry for the past 10 years, serving patients and dental professionals as a Dental Software Trainer for Delta Dental of OR & AK, an Office Manager for a small family practice in Portland, and Dental Insurance Specialist providing benefit breakdowns for Moda Health.
I look forward to establishing some new roots within a wonderful community of people in the Willamette Valley and to serving our patients at Sunset Dental.
I have been a licensed dental hygienist since 2000, having earned by degree from Utah Valley University. I have further honed my expertise by specializing in Myofunctional Therapy under the guidance of Sarah Hornsby and hold certification as an Oxygen Advantage Instructor through Patrick McKeown.
With a deep commitment to providing top-tier care, I prioritize patient comfort and strive to create a relaxing atmosphere in the dental office.
Beyond my professional role, I am passionate about teaching empowerment-based self-defense to women and girls, imparting valuable skills for leading a safer, more confident life. I am also an oil painter, interior decorator, and enjoy kayaking in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Together with my Husband, Duane, I treasure quality time with our children and grandchildren, all of whom live in the Northwest.

I was born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Oregon. I attended Lane Community College where I graduated with an associates of applied science in dental hygiene in 2018. I have been a part of the Sunset Dental team ever since. I am focused on providing quality dental care and tailoring homecare instruction to each patients needs. My goal is to make patients feel comfortable in the dental chair while performing the highest level of care. I work as a hygienist part time and spend the rest of my days raising two young children. I enjoy gardening, baking, and spending time with family.
I am a warm, funny, and calm EFDA and X-ray certified Dental Assistant with over 30 years of experience in general dentistry.
